Amazon.com Product Description Sleek, lightweight, and elegant, this slim bicycle computer displays current speed, maximum speed (up to 65 mph), average speed, trip distance, second-trip distance, total distance, elapsed time, and 12/24-hour clock. The dual trip-distance functions keep track of intermediate or multi-day distances. For ease of use even on rough terrain, simply pressing the bottom of the screen toggles through the computer's modes. The selected mode displays at the bottom of the screen, while current speed appears at the top in large, easy-to-read numerals. An up/down arrow compares current speed to average speed. Other features include dual tire size, programmable odometer, pace arrow, automatic start/stop, and automatic power-saving mode. The computer runs on a CR1620 battery (included). Maximum wired transmission distance is 27 inches. The computer's tool-free bracket mounts quickly on virtually any handlebar or stem. The tool-free sensor mounts easily to the fork. Like all Cateye bicycle computers, this one is ultrasonically welded and water-resistant. Specifications: - Handlebar mount size: 22-31.8 mm
- Fork mount size: 11-55 mm
- Battery: CR1620 (included)
- Maximum wired transmission distance: 27" (70 cm)

good product when it works September 5, 2010 cliff3344 I've had two of these. The first one worked good for about 2 months. Then the speedometer would start to go to zero, then would start reading after you'd press on the face several times. Since the first one was so new, i just returned it and got another. The second has lasted two years and it has started doing the exact same thing. I replaced the battery, placed the magnet super close to the pickup (now it hits when I pedal hard) reset everything, checked the wires, nothing has helped. I've talked to others who have not had this problem. Surely this has happened to others. Buyer beware.
An excellent basic Cyclo-comp! September 2, 2010 snachims The Cateye Strada is a great cyclo-computer. It has all of your basic functions, including settings for two different bikes. It was fairly simple to install, and the single push-button design is easily usable when you're barreling down the side of the road, trying not to get squashed by an 18-wheeler. On this model, you can actually see the screen when wearing polarized sunglasses, a plus that many other computers can't claim. It's been working well for me for the past 150 miles, and my friends has clocked 1500 on his, still working like the day he bought it. Great buy!
Bike Computer - Functional, but clumsy August 16, 2010 A. Barton (Alexandria, VA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a great idea - once I had it all hooked up, I realized that wireless would have been easier.
No problems putting it on bike; fiancee took care of that.
Do find it challenging to change the settings as the buttons are tiny and hard to use. But, easy to reset the tripdometer. Pops off easily (but not too easily) for when I park it in a public place.
Seems fairly accurate and keeps me motivated to go a bit further each time.
Love knowing cumulative miles done on the bike.
Great computer June 17, 2010 rook and raven 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this computer. It is very easy to read, even at night if there are street lights. All the usual functions are there. I have one complaint: the computer connects to the magnet via a bracket that has a very small plastic nub that holds it in place. This nub broke on my after about 3 months use. Possibly this is because I have this computer on the bike I commute with, and I was taking it off every time I locket my bike up at work. So, perhaps this is more frequent use of the mount than it was designed for. On the flip side, Cateye was extremely easy to deal with for getting a replacement bracket. I didn't even have to send in the broken one.
Excellent Computer June 3, 2010 Anthony D. Janicik (Dutchess County, NY) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had a Cateye for an older bike which had basic funtions (odometer, speed, max). I wanted to upgrade to a computer with more functions, when I got my new road bike. I love this product. The previous one I had was used and abused for nearly 5 year; it withstood everything I did to it and them some; so I didn't consider any other brand. The only complaint I have was the instructions were not clear IMO. I personally prefer written instructions while these were pics, so I found it somewhat difficult to install (and as a matter of fact screwed it up).Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. When I returned to the bike shop with my bike and the computer, they knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it immediately. Not that I'm knocking Amazon, but, I highly recommend purchasing this item in person at a bike store so that if you run into the problems I had you can have them unscrew what you probably screwed up ;-) . I have had no other problems with it other than the cadence sensor slips from time to time and I have to readjust it. Good product, when the time comes to upgrade again, it will be a Cateye.
